Soldiers under Operation HADIN KAI successfully blocked a militant infiltration attempt at a military facility in Borno State and secured 21 female students. A military report released on Monday confirmed these actions, which were prompted by intelligence regarding potential threats. At the Forward Operating Base in Logomani, personnel from the 3 Battalion utilized CCTV systems to identify and repel ISWAP/JAS insurgents attempting to surround their base.
In a separate incident near the Monguno Water Board IDP camp, troops identified seven militants carrying explosives. To ensure student safety, 21 girls were moved to Kinnasara Barracks. Although three students experienced seizures during the transition, they received medical care and stabilized quickly. Meanwhile, near Surajo village, soldiers and local hunters forced terrorists to retreat, seizing their abandoned equipment. Authorities also apprehended a suspected kidnapper linked to a cross-border syndicate near Mubi, Adamawa State. Additional security operations in Kebbi State successfully pushed back attackers along the Wasagu–Ayu Road.
