Professional darts sensation Luke Littler is starring in a fresh Netflix production titled Beat Luke Littler. This live spectacle invites ordinary fans to step up to the oche against the world champion, with 20 lucky contestants set to be chosen from the applicant pool.
During a promotional video for the October 30 event, Littler challenged the public directly, asking if they truly believed they could best him. Participants who successfully take on the 19-year-old could walk away with a prize of £501,000, a figure reflecting the classic 501 starting point in a game of darts.
Regional auditions will take place in London and Manchester throughout September. The application is open to anyone aged 12 or older, though minors must have parental or guardian supervision. Applicants must detail their experience level and explain why they think they can defeat the star.
Littler’s professional momentum continues to build, following his recent 18-9 victory over Gerwyn Price at the Betfred World Matchplay in Blackpool. During this tournament, he set a record average of 111.53 in the final, surpassing the previous record held by Phil Taylor. Having already secured titles like the World Championship, the UK Open, and the Premier League, Littler remains in pursuit of a complete trophy sweep for the year.
