Iran’s military forces have issued a stern warning that any renewed United States aggression against the nation could trigger a wider regional conflict. Army spokesperson Mohammad Akraminia stated on state television that continuing air campaigns in coordination with Israel would lead to a broader geographic expansion of hostilities.
Akraminia noted that the conflict has already reached the Bab al-Mandab Strait, pointing to recent skirmishes involving Yemen’s Houthi rebels. He emphasized that current Iranian operations now span from US military installations in Jordan to various countries bordering the Persian Gulf.
Describing the regional climate for the United States as precarious, Akraminia suggested that Washington is currently re-evaluating its strategic approach. He confirmed that Iranian forces remain fully prepared for all potential scenarios. This warning precedes a scheduled meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump, which is set to take place at the White House this Tuesday.
