Governor Abdullahi Sule has awarded N45 million to the Nasarawa Amazons following their successful campaign at the 2026 Women President Federation Cup. During a Friday event held in Lafia, the governor detailed how the funds would be distributed among the squad.
The players are set to share N25 million, while the management and technical staff will receive N15 million. Additionally, the team’s supporters club was granted N5 million. Beyond the team award, Governor Sule provided individual bonuses, gifting $1,000 to the tournament’s Most Valuable Player and Nasarawa player Hembafan Ayatsea, as well as $1,000 to top goalkeeper Udoka Unachukwu. The remaining 34 players on the roster received $500 each.
The Nasarawa Amazons secured the championship title after defeating Heartland Queens in a penalty shootout, ending 6-5, during the final match in Asaba.
