Reports indicate that Chelsea is also tracking Lacroix, with Crystal Palace valuing the defender at a minimum of £55 million. Leboeuf insists that Lacroix is an ideal candidate to team up with Gabriel Magalhaes while Saliba recovers.
Leboeuf emphasized the gravity of losing such a key player for an extended period, noting that Arsenal must secure a replacement, whether through a permanent deal or a loan, to remain competitive. He highlighted that Lacroix is a proven French talent with valuable Premier League experience.
According to Leboeuf, the priority for Mikel Arteta is finding an immediate impact player who does not require a lengthy adjustment period. He concluded that if the financial terms align with Arsenal’s needs, Lacroix represents a strong tactical fit for their backline.
