Investors at Tantalizers Plc recently praised the leadership and board for steering the organization back into profitability. During a virtual Annual General Meeting, Chairman Alhaji Adam Nuru confirmed that the 2025 financial rebound stems from a strategic shift toward operational stability and minimized execution risks.
This recovery was driven by increased revenue, better financial returns, and strict cost controls. The firm reported a net profit of N73 million for 2025, a significant improvement from the N265.59 million loss reported in the previous year. Financial statements show a turnover of N2.90 billion, a gross profit of N463.78 million, and a pre-tax profit of N83.70 million.
Nuru emphasized that while this milestone is positive, the company remains dedicated to long-term value creation through prudent financial management. Furthermore, the new subsidiary, Tantalizers Fisheries Limited, is making headway in infrastructure and capacity building to ensure market competitiveness. Shareholders also finalized key leadership decisions, confirming the appointment of Mr. Akintade Ogidan and re-electing Mrs. Abosede Ayeni, Mr. Bamidele Oke, and Dr. Israel Ovirih to the board.
