A total of 19 players have arrived at the Super Falcons’ training base in Casablanca as the team readies for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. The squad began their residency in Morocco last Monday to initiate tournament preparations.
Additional arrivals are anticipated later this week, with Michelle Alozie, Deborah Abiodun, Gift Monday, Esther Okoronkwo, Folashade Ijamilusi, and Uchenna Kanu scheduled to join the group at the Hotel Marriott. Under the guidance of coach Justine Madugu, the team is set to conduct a practice session this evening at the La Noria Club.
The squad plans to relocate to Rabat this coming weekend. Nigeria’s campaign kicks off on July 28 at the Al Madina Stadium against Malawi. They are also scheduled to compete against Zambia and Egypt within the same group stage.
