Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah is preparing to join the Turkish club Besiktas after his time at Liverpool concludes this summer. The 34-year-old enters the transfer market as a free agent and has drawn interest from numerous international teams.
While speculation previously connected Salah to move to Saudi Arabia or the MLS, it now appears his career will continue within Europe. According to reports from Foot Mercato and GFFN, Salah has reached an agreement on a one-year deal with Besiktas.
The terms of the contract include a 10 million euro annual salary with an additional 2 million euros in potential bonuses. Furthermore, the agreement features an option to extend his stay for a second year. Besiktas officials aim to complete the signing within the next few days.
