Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has signed a contract with Deportivo La Coruna that will keep him with the Spanish side until 2028. The newly promoted La Liga club confirmed the acquisition of the Gabonese striker from Marseille this Friday.
The forward exits Marseille with one year left on his previous deal, concluding a tenure that saw him score 44 goals across 92 appearances. The 37-year-old previously joined the French side in 2023, following a brief period at the Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah. In an official statement, Deportivo La Coruna praised the player for his long-term consistency at the professional level.
Aubameyang boasts a diverse resume, having played for prominent teams such as Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, and Chelsea. He also previously competed in Spain for Barcelona, netting 13 goals during a 24-game run four years ago. His new club, Deportivo La Coruna, is currently preparing for its first season in the Spanish top flight after an eight-year absence.
