Maduka Okoye has officially ended speculation regarding his immediate future by confirming he will remain at Udinese for the upcoming 2026/27 campaign. The Nigerian goalkeeper drew interest from Serie A powerhouses Juventus following his strong performance last season.
During his previous term, Okoye recorded 10 clean sheets across 30 league games, playing a key role in helping Udinese secure a top-half finish. Reports suggested Juventus viewed him as an alternative target after their pursuit of Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez did not succeed.
Despite the external interest, the 26-year-old athlete insists he is focused solely on his current club. Speaking with Transfermarkt, Okoye emphasized his dedication, stating that he is enjoying his time at Udinese and is not preoccupied with potential changes. The goalkeeper is currently under contract with the Italian side for another two years.
