Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong has shared heartbreaking photos of his teammates who are currently stranded at Al Abaq Airport in Libya.
The Super Eagles squad has been held at the airport for nearly 20 hours since their arrival in Libya ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier return leg on Tuesday, October 15.
Earlier, Troost-Ekong announced that the team has agreed to boycott the AFCON qualifying match against Libya due to their ordeal at the airport.
The Al-Kholood defender has now taken to his Twitter account to share photos of his teammates at Al Abaq Airport as they continue to call for help.
