President Tinubu Opens Abuja City Walk Experience Centre and Promotes Nigeria as Investment-Ready

President Tinubu has launched the Abuja City Walk Experience Centre, signaling Nigeria’s openness to global investment and its commitment to modernizing urban infrastructure.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has formally inaugurated the Sales Office and Experience Centre for the multi-billion-dollar Abuja City Walk project. Represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, the President declared that Nigeria is actively seeking local and international investors, framing the development as a primary goal of his Renewed Hope Agenda.

Located along the Abuja Airport Expressway, the project aims to transform the capital into a major center for commerce and modern urban living. The President emphasized that the initiative proves the government’s commitment to translating promises into concrete infrastructure. By granting the area Free Trade Zone status, the administration aims to facilitate seamless trade and attract high-end hospitality and retail investments.

Addressing potential concerns, President Tinubu assured investors that Nigeria is focused on improving legal and financial frameworks to safeguard capital. He praised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for reclaiming the site from land speculators and clearing bureaucratic hurdles that had stalled the area for two decades.

Minister Wike noted that the 250-hectare site, once slated for a technology hub, was secured after legal intervention against land grabbers. He issued a stern warning to developers, stating that the government will reclaim the land if they fail to meet project milestones. Master International Links, the firm behind the project, plans to include luxury residences, hotels, a technology village, and a massive multipurpose arena, creating significant employment opportunities for the local workforce.
