Arsenal Women secure fifth summer recruit with Lisa Baum arrival

Arsenal Women have added 19-year-old winger Lisa Baum to their squad, marking the team’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window.

Arsenal Women have officially confirmed Lisa Baum as their fifth acquisition of the summer transfer window. The 19-year-old winger joins the Gunners from RB Leipzig on a contract running through 2029, which includes an option for a further year.

Baum, who previously played for Hamburger SV, brings impressive experience from the Bundesliga to North London. She is expected to bolster the wide attacking options available to coach Renee Slegers. Regarding her move, Baum highlighted her excitement about joining such a renowned club and testing herself in a highly competitive league.

Clare Wheatley, the Director of Women’s Football, expressed confidence in the young talent, describing her as one of the most promising wingers in Europe. Baum joins a list of summer arrivals including Ona Batlle, Geraldine Reuteler, Selina Cerci, and Georgia Stanway as part of the team’s ongoing squad development.
