The Zamfara State Hospital Service Management Board (HSMB) recently held a Computer-Based Test (CBT) to screen candidates applying for nursing and midwifery positions within the local health sector. This assessment is a key step in the board’s strategy to maintain a fair and merit-driven hiring procedure that enhances medical services in the region.
Mustapha Abdulkadir Marafa, the Executive Secretary of the HSMB, emphasized that selecting skilled and professional staff is a priority for upgrading state healthcare. He explained that utilizing digital testing technology promotes transparency and provides every applicant with a balanced opportunity to succeed.
During the session, Marafa praised the participants for their disciplined behavior and expressed gratitude toward the examination staff, technical crew, and security teams for facilitating an efficient process. The board confirmed that only candidates who satisfy the necessary criteria will advance to subsequent selection phases. This initiative aligns with the government’s broader goal of bolstering the medical workforce and increasing access to quality care for all residents of Zamfara.
