Police Identify Men Under Investigation Following Harassment and Extortion Claims Involving Corps Members
Lagos State Police Command PRO Benjamin Hundeyin has announced that officers filmed harassing corps members in Surulere are currently being interrogated.
He made this statement on X in response to a video showing uniformed officers in a heated exchange with corps members, who alleged the officers extorted N1 million from them.
Hundeyin confirmed that the officers, identified as members of Area C, Surulere, are under investigation and urged anyone with more evidence, such as footage of money exchange, to come forward.
He promised updates on the outcome of the ongoing interrogation.
