Italian side Inter Women officially secured the services of Super Falcons player Toni Payne, according to reports. The 31-year-old midfielder joins the team after leaving Everton Ladies in the English Women’s Super League.
Payne has committed to the Nerazzurri through a deal that runs until June 30, 2028. Her career began in the Netherlands with Ajax, followed by a productive six-year stint at the Spanish club Sevilla before her brief move to England two years ago.
A former youth international for the United States, Payne contributed to Nigeria’s success in claiming their 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title in Morocco earlier this year. Additionally, head coach Justine Madugu included the versatile midfielder in the squad list for the 2026 WAFCON finals this past Friday.
