Iran Issues Strong Warning to the United States Amid Escalating Tensions

Iran’s parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, warns that the U.S. will face retaliation for its recent military actions and pressure regarding the Strait of Hormuz.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the speaker of Iran’s parliament, has issued a stern message to the United States, stating that aggressive behavior and the violation of agreements will face consequences. Addressing the ongoing friction surrounding the Strait of Hormuz, Ghalibaf declared that any hostile actions taken by the U.S. would be met with direct retaliation.

Tehran maintains that it will manage the Strait of Hormuz independently, rejecting external pressure or threats from Washington. Ghalibaf warned the U.S. against continuing its current trajectory, suggesting that further involvement would only lead to greater instability for their forces in the region.

This declaration follows reports from the Iranian military claiming to have targeted two U.S. bases in Kuwait and two in Bahrain. These actions were reportedly taken in response to a second consecutive night of American military strikes. Iran has cautioned that additional U.S. sites in the region remain potential targets if the current cycle of military confrontation persists.
