Former United States President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday that he remains a primary target for assassination by Iran. While preparing to depart Turkey aboard a substitute aircraft, Trump addressed inquiries regarding potential security threats influencing his travel logistics.
When questioned about whether safety concerns necessitated a change in his flight arrangements, Trump confirmed his status, noting that he sits at the top of Iran’s kill list. Despite these identified risks, the 80-year-old asserted that he remains focused on his responsibilities, adding that he is unconcerned by the threats because he believes he is performing his duties effectively.
The aircraft used for his departure was a recently acquired jet gifted by Qatar, rather than the primary plane typically associated with his travel. Trump clarified that the newer plane was currently scheduled for a tour in Europe to benefit American service personnel.
