Inside the New York City Wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have married at Madison Square Garden in an event officiated by Adam Sandler and featuring custom Dior couture.

Following months of intense public curiosity, pop icon Taylor Swift and Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce were married at Madison Square Garden. Swift’s publicist confirmed the news on Friday evening, shortly after the arena displayed messages announcing that the couple had been wed.

Actor Adam Sandler served as the wedding officiant. His involvement had personal significance, as Swift previously identified the character Sandler played in his 1996 film Happy Gilmore as the inspiration for her song Wi$h Li$t. According to reports, Sandler also performed a humorous musical tribute during the reception.

The bridal attire was a custom creation by Christian Dior Haute Couture, designed by Jonathan Anderson. This marked the first time the fashion house produced a couture wedding dress for a celebrity. Swift accessorized with jewelry from Cartier and custom footwear by Christian Louboutin.

Breaking from traditional wedding roles, Swift appointed her brother, Austin, as her man of honour, while Travis selected his brother and podcast partner, Jason Kelce, to act as his best man. The couple chose not to have bridesmaids or groomsmen.

The guest list included approximately 1,000 attendees, drawing from the highest ranks of music, film, and sports. Notable figures such as Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper, and Tom Hanks were present to witness the celebration. Stevie Nicks reportedly performed during the event, which was decorated to evoke a lush, countryside garden theme inside the arena.
