The Confederation of African Football has officially acknowledged the impressive advancement of two African nations into the knockout stages of the ongoing FIFA World Cup. Both Morocco and Egypt successfully secured their spots in the Round of 16.
Morocco earned their place by defeating the Netherlands in the Round of 32, while Egypt achieved their qualification by knocking out Australia. These two North African squads are now scheduled to compete against Canada and Argentina, respectively, as they vie for a position in the quarter-finals.
Sharing their enthusiasm on social media, CAF posted a message on Saturday morning expressing pride in the teams’ progress. The organization emphasized that both nations are prepared for their upcoming challenges, stating that Africa continues to advance in the tournament.
