Arsenal Women have officially acquired England midfielder Georgia Stanway from Bayern Munich. The 27-year-old spent four seasons in the Bundesliga, where she secured eight major trophies following her departure from Manchester City in 2022.
Expressing her excitement, Stanway noted her pride in joining such a significant club, emphasizing her desire to contribute to its growth and win more honors. During her time at Manchester City, she successfully claimed a WSL title, three FA Cups, and three League Cups.
Internationally, Stanway has been a key figure for the Lionesses, recording 33 goals across 93 appearances. She notably played a crucial part in England’s back-to-back European Championship victories in 2022 and 2025.
