Tinubu Pledges End to Abandoned Projects, Targets National Development

President Tinubu has promised to stop the cycle of abandoned infrastructure projects, pledging to deliver completed roads and development across all Nigerian states.

President Bola Tinubu declared on Tuesday that Nigeria is moving past the time of leaving infrastructure projects unfinished. He committed to spreading development across all states to foster national growth.

Speaking at the launch of the Gomani-Dafa-Yangoji road in the Federal Capital Territory, Senate President Godswill Akpabio represented the President. This event coincided with the third anniversary of the administration. Akpabio noted that these roads represent the core of the President’s renewed hope agenda.

President Tinubu emphasized that development must extend beyond urban centers to reach rural populations. The newly completed 13-kilometer road aims to link local communities to schools and essential markets, preventing agricultural waste and providing new prospects for residents. The administration remains committed to funding, completing, and maintaining public infrastructure projects to ensure every public naira delivers tangible results.
