Yoruba Nation campaigner Sunday Adeyemo, popularly called Sunday Igboho, has announced that his security personnel, known as Iru Ekun, have healed from injuries sustained during a confrontation with suspected criminals in the Old Oyo National Park.
Addressing public concerns regarding his safety, Igboho released a video message clarifying that he is healthy and unharmed. He emphasized that the wounded members of his team have regained their health and remains committed to the goal of removing criminal groups currently threatening regional stability.
The incident occurred recently when the security team entered the national park to locate kidnappers and armed gangs. Using drone technology to scout the terrain, the team encountered heavy resistance from suspected cross-border criminals, leading to a violent shootout that resulted in injuries to his staff. Despite the ambush, Igboho stated that his determination to clear the forest of illegal actors remains unchanged.
