Robert Lewandowski set for move to Chicago Fire

Robert Lewandowski is reportedly moving to MLS club Chicago Fire after concluding his time at Barcelona.

Polish forward Robert Lewandowski has decided on his next destination during the current summer transfer period. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the veteran striker finalized an agreement with the Chicago Fire following a site visit to the city and the club facilities a fortnight ago.

The 37-year-old athlete is expected to formalize his contract with the Major League Soccer team early next week as he prepares for this upcoming phase of his career. This move follows his departure from Barcelona at the end of the 2025/26 season. Throughout his distinguished tenure in professional football, Lewandowski has previously represented top German clubs, including Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. Currently, the striker is not involved in the FIFA World Cup, as the Polish national team did not qualify for the competition.
