First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has revamped its mobile application to prioritize user benefits through a new loyalty points system. By earning points for everyday transactions, customers can now convert routine banking activity into measurable rewards. This update moves the platform toward a model that emphasizes value creation within the bank’s digital infrastructure.
The app update includes a Regal Premium Lifestyle Subscription, providing users with exclusive perks in travel, dining, and entertainment, alongside a three-month free transfer offer for new clients. Furthermore, the bank has integrated mutual fund investment tools directly into the app, centralizing financial growth opportunities. Customer support has also been upgraded with the addition of ‘Chat with Temi’, an automated assistant designed for rapid issue resolution.
Oladipo Alabede, Divisional Head of Payments and Solutions, noted that these improvements aim to provide greater convenience and recognize client loyalty. The bank has also streamlined the account upgrade process from Tier 1 to Tier 2, removing the need for physical branch visits. Additionally, users can now request and activate virtual cards instantly for secure online shopping.
Adetunji Lamidi, Divisional Head of Personal Banking, stated that these advancements are part of a broader strategy to create a more intuitive and tech-forward banking experience. Customers are advised to update their current app or download the latest version to access these new features.
