Abba Yusuf, the Governor of Kano State, is urging residents to maintain their support for President Bola Tinubu. According to the governor, the President’s dedication to both the state and the nation warrants continued loyalty.
Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa, the spokesperson for the governor, released a statement on Wednesday detailing these remarks. Governor Yusuf spoke during the presentation of the Certificate of Return to Shu’aibu Rabi’u Nagogo, who recently won the federal constituency seat for Dawakin Kudu and Warawa.
Yusuf noted that Kano has clear reasons to support Tinubu as the country looks toward the 2027 elections. He highlighted the productive collaboration between the state and federal governments, specifically praising the President for backing essential development and infrastructure initiatives in Kano.
Emphasizing the importance of national unity, the governor encouraged political leaders to foster a stronger alliance between the state and Abuja. He also expressed optimism that Nagogo would serve his constituents effectively in the House of Representatives. Yusuf concluded by reaffirming his government’s resolve to partner with federal authorities to implement policies that benefit the people.
