These false claims originated from an X user known as @Ghost91on, who alleged that the content creator had confirmed the death of his associate via Instagram. Officer Woos responded by posting the misleading screenshot to his own Instagram story with the single word, “false.”
His legal team, Versed Attorneys, released an official statement labeling the social media reports as malicious and entirely fabricated. The firm emphasized that Officer Woos has never shared any information regarding the death of a colleague or friend. Furthermore, the legal representatives indicated that their client is prepared to pursue legal action against those responsible for spreading this misinformation. The speculation regarding Broda Shaggy follows a March 2026 incident where the comedian was shot during a filming session at Sango Ota Bridge in Ogun state. Since that event, Broda Shaggy has remained silent regarding his condition.
