The Federal High Court in Abuja has set bail at N5 million for blogger Chidiebere Justice Mark, famously known as Justice Crack.

The Department of State Services is currently prosecuting him for alleged cybercrimes related to a viral video about the Nigerian Army.

Justice Joyce Abdulmalik presided over the bail application. The defendant must provide one surety who lives within the court’s jurisdiction and has maintained the same address for at least four years.

The surety must be a federal civil servant of at least Grade Level 15, providing documents such as proof of pensionable status, three months of salary records, and an authentication letter from their department head.

Furthermore, the surety must submit an affidavit of means, a recent photograph, and proof of residence through a certificate of occupancy or tenancy agreement.

The court ordered Mark to surrender his international passport. The trial will continue at a later date. Meanwhile, Marshal Attorneys have formally requested that the Attorney-General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, dismiss the charges, alleging that Mark was initially seized by military intelligence on April 28, 2026.
