The 2024 BET Awards took place on Sunday night, June 30.

 

 

The annual ceremony that celebrates black artists and entertainers in music, film, sports, and other arenas, was held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

 

Actress Taraji P. Henson hosted the 2024 BET Awards for a third year.

 

 

Victoria Monet, Killer Mike, and Usher were among the big winners at the 2024 BET Awards.

 

Usher was honored with the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from industry legends Baby Face and L.A. Reid. The moment was celebrated with a star-studded musical tribute, including a medley of his hits performed by artists like Chlöe Bailey, Childish Gambino, KeKe Palmer, CoCo Jones, Tinashe, Latto, and more. The industry icon also took home the trophy for “Best Male R&B/Pop Artist.”

 

 

Will Smith made a powerful return to music with his new single, “You Can Make It,” which featured a guest appearance by Gospel icon Kirk Franklin and the uplifting voices of the Sunday Service Choir.
