Nigerian Air Force Invites Successful Candidates for BMTC 46/2025 Selection Interview
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced that candidates who passed its 2025 Zonal General Aptitude Test are now invited to the Selection Board Interview. This interview is for recruitment into the Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025.
Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the Director of Public Relations and Information at Headquarters, Nigerian Air Force, issued a statement on Wednesday confirming this development. The NAF has published the names of all successful candidates on its official recruitment portal: nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng/updates/.
The interviews are scheduled to take place at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna. They will run from April 27 to June 13, 2026, for both Trades and Non-Tradesmen and Women applicants.
Shortlisted candidates must adhere strictly to their assigned batch schedule, which is displayed on the portal. The Air Force cautioned that failure to report on their designated dates will lead to disqualification and forfeiture of their opportunity to participate in the Selection Board Interview.
The NAF also reiterated that the entire recruitment process is completely free of charge. Applicants are strongly advised against making any payments at any stage of the exercise.
This announcement follows the Zonal General Aptitude Test, which was conducted on December 5, 2025. Over 20,000 applicants participated nationwide in the test, which took place across 15 designated NAF Bases. These centres included Sokoto, Minna, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Yola, Makurdi, Jos, Ilorin, Ipetu-Ijesa, Enugu, Benin, Port Harcourt, and Ikeja.
The Air Force previously stated that the extensive reach of the test was an effort to ensure inclusiveness and offer equal opportunities.
Air Commodore Ejodame emphasized the NAF’s commitment to fairness, integrity, and strict adherence to established standards. He highlighted that the aptitude test remains a critical stage for selecting candidates based purely on merit, stating that the quality of personnel is fundamental to operational effectiveness.
