Prophet Chibueze Hazel Akwiwu has advised citizens to avoid anxiety regarding the ongoing debate over the Muslim-Muslim political ticket. Speaking in Owerri on Monday, he emphasized that faith-based differences must not hinder the national objective of achieving effective governance and progress.
During a media session, Akwiwu addressed statements linked to Islamic scholar Sheikh Yahaya Jingir concerning Christian support for President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 polls. The prophet rejected these remarks, characterizing them as a result of external manipulation and a spirit of error.
Akwiwu maintained that President Tinubu remains focused on advancing the country rather than promoting a religious agenda. He stated that past efforts to destabilize the current administration have proven unsuccessful and expressed confidence that this recent debate will similarly fail to obstruct the government’s path.
Advocating for harmony, the prophet insisted that religious identity is not an obstacle to proper administration. He encouraged Nigerians to prioritize unity and development over divisive sentiments, while also sharing his personal religious view regarding the potential for widespread conversion to Christianity.
