IAEA Confirms Strike Impact at Natanz Nuclear Complex

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has verified that recent military strikes by American and Israeli forces caused structural damage to Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility.

Utilizing updated satellite intelligence, the watchdog identified that the facility’s entrance structures were hit, marking the first formal confirmation of physical damage to the site since the current wave of hostilities began.

Despite the confirmed damage to the perimeter and support buildings, the IAEA clarified that the core underground enrichment zones remain unaffected and that there is no immediate risk of a radiological leak.

This assessment follows an initial statement from the agency just 24 hours prior, which had suggested the facility remained untouched.

The Natanz complex, a critical and heavily fortified component of Iran’s nuclear program, continues to be a focal point of international concern as regional tensions escalate.
