Tren De Aragua Gang Leader Falls To His Death During Police Raid In Colombia

A notorious Tren de Aragua gang leader died after falling from an eighth-floor balcony while trying to escape a police raid in Antioquia, Colombia.

Ender Alexis Rojas Montan, 31, leader of the gang’s Alayon Dynasty branch, fell to his death on October 9 as Colombian National Police stormed his apartment with a battering ram.

Body camera footage showed Rojas Montan attempting to scale the balcony railing to reach the floor below but slipping and plunging to the sidewalk. Officers looking over the railing saw his body on the ground while a bystander watched in shock.

Police burst into the apartment, arresting three Venezuelan nationals: Luis Alberto Cabeza Calderon (alias “Toro”), Yonathan Samuel Urbina Rodriguez, and Daviannys del Jesus Moya Avila. A grenade and a pound of amphetamines worth $9,550 were also recovered.

Authorities identified Cabeza Calderon as a close ally of Tren de Aragua’s top leader, Hector Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, who is wanted in Peru for extortion and drug trafficking.

The raid, dubbed “Operation Shadow 3,” was carried out with support from Chilean, Peruvian, and U.S. DEA agents. Rojas Montan, wanted internationally for kidnapping and organized crime, had fled Chile in June 2024 and relocated to Colombia to expand the gang’s operations.

The arrested suspects are accused of handling synthetic drug distribution, extortion rings, and sexual exploitation activities linked to the gang.
