Lizzy Anjorin Fires Back At Iyabo Ojo, Threatens Legal Action Over Alleged Attacks On Her Daughter
Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has responded to colleague Iyabo Ojo’s legal threats, accusing her of instigating attacks on her family and vowing to counter with legal action of her own.
In a video posted online on Monday, Anjorin dismissed claims that she was “mad” for calling out Iyabo’s children and grandson, insisting that she was only retaliating.
According to her, Iyabo and her associates once visited her residence to paste a court document and allegedly photographed her daughter, Florida, who had just returned from school, before circulating the image on social media.
She further accused Iyabo of amplifying defamatory content about her family, including posts alleging her death, by reacting with laughing emojis.
“Don’t tag me as mad for defending my child. She started it,” Anjorin said in the video.
The actress also claimed that Iyabo Ojo played a role in damaging the reputations of singer Naira Marley and his associate Sam Larry during the controversy surrounding late artist Mohbad, adding that Iyabo had failed to publicly clear their names.
The clash between the two actresses has reignited longstanding tensions in Nollywood, with both sides now threatening to escalate the dispute through legal means.
