Governor Umo Eno approved the exercise, which spans various sectors including education, healthcare, law, engineering, agriculture, science, and administration.
According to Commissioner for Science and Digital Economy, Frank Ekpenyong, the recruitment will be carried out via the state’s ARISE Youth Employment Portal — https://employment.akwaibomstate.gov.ng.
Applicants are to create profiles and upload key documents such as academic certificates and NYSC discharge or exemption certificates. Only one application per candidate is allowed, and all communication will be through a valid email address.
Shortlisted applicants will be notified via the portal and must accept their status online. Some roles may require an aptitude test, with dates and details provided in advance. On test or interview day, candidates must bring their original credentials, invitation slip, and writing materials.
Successful candidates will see their status updated to “Employed” on the portal and receive onboarding instructions. Departments are currently finalizing their listings, which will go live on or before July 31, 2025.
