Osimhen Set For Galatasaray Switch As €75m Deal Sealed With Napoli
Victor Osimhen is poised to undergo his medical ahead of a permanent transfer to Galatasaray after the Turkish club fulfilled all conditions laid out by Napoli.
The deal, finalized on Sunday just before Napoli’s Monday deadline, includes a €75 million transfer fee. Napoli will receive €40 million upfront, with the remaining €35 million to be paid in instalments by June 2026. The Italian side will also earn €5 million in performance-related add-ons and retain 10% of any future transfer fee.
Broadcast personality Onyebuchi Onokala, who has closely followed the transfer saga, confirmed the agreement, noting that Osimhen had to push Napoli to accept Galatasaray’s fifth offer.
Italian transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano corroborated the update, highlighting that the final terms also included a clause barring Osimhen’s sale to any Serie A club within two years—unless Galatasaray pays a significant penalty.
Despite a previous €75 million release clause expiring on July 15, Napoli stood firm on the valuation due to Osimhen’s prolific form during his loan spell at Galatasaray, where he scored 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 matches.
The transfer faced earlier delays over Galatasaray’s inability to present solid bank guarantees, which raised concerns for Napoli especially considering past financial disputes involving transfers of Goran Pandev and Blerim Dzemaili in 2014.
Osimhen reportedly rejected a return to Napoli and turned down an offer from Saudi Arabia, signaling his clear preference for a permanent move to Turkey.
