Nigerian Army Must Embrace Innovative Tech to End Insecurity – Oyinlola
Major General Eyitayo Foluso Oyinlola, the General Officer Commanding 3 Division of the Nigerian Army, emphasized the importance of using modern technology and advanced strategies to combat insecurity in the country.
Speaking at the opening of Module III for the 3 Division Operations Planning Cadre 2025, held at the 33 Artillery Brigade of Shadawanka Barracks in Bauchi, Oyinlola highlighted the necessity of integrating technological tools into military operations.
According to him, “The operational planning cadre junior commander’s training for tactical operational level is aimed at shaping and refreshing their minds on their responsibilities and acquainting them with innovations, policies in the Nigerian Army, and Army forces in general.”
Oyinlola stressed the importance of cooperation from all stakeholders — including government bodies, the military, and the general public — to effectively support security agencies in maintaining peace within the region.
During the event, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, thanked the Nigerian Army for selecting Bauchi as the host and pledged his administration’s continued support to all security agencies operating within the state.
