National Sports Festival: 14-Year-Old JSS3 Student Wins Silver In Men’s Swimming Event
Fourteen-year-old Aidan Dumuje-Abili has secured a silver medal in swimming at the ongoing 2024 National Sports Festival.
The Junior Secondary School 3 student from Grange School, Lagos, placed second in the men’s backstroke with a time of 1:04.15.
This achievement marks Dumuje-Abili’s first medal at the senior level. He has previously won gold at the Dolphin Swimming League, National Youth Games, International School Sport Federation events, and the World School Games.
Team Ogun’s Kolade Otunla claimed gold with a time of 1:02.41, while Team Delta’s Duke Enyekamime secured bronze with a time of 1:04.70.
