Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti Rejects Offer To Manage Brazilian National Team
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly turned down the opportunity to manage the Brazilian national team.
Although he was expected to sign a contract during a visit to London on Monday, Ancelotti ultimately chose not to proceed and later informed Brazilian Football Confederation president Ednaldo Rodrigues of his decision.
According to Marca, the Italian manager changed his mind due to uncertainties about when he could officially begin his duties—Brazil had anticipated a June start, but Ancelotti indicated he wouldn’t be available until August.
This development means Ancelotti will no longer take charge of Brazil and may still be on the sidelines for Real Madrid during the upcoming Club World Cup.
While he is still expected to leave the Spanish club at the end of the season, he is reportedly weighing a highly lucrative offer to coach in Saudi Arabia, worth €50 million net (£42 million).
