Bandits Kill Chief Imam And His Two Sons After Abduction In Zamfara

Bandits have killed the abducted chief imam of the 1st Jumu’at Central Mosque in Maru, Malam Salisu Suleiman Liman, along with his two sons.

The Imam, along with his children, a newlywed couple, and several others, was kidnapped on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

The terrorists launched a midnight raid on Maru town that lasted about two hours.

The newlywed couple, Muhammad Suleiman and his wife, Balkisu, were among those taken just after their wedding ceremony.

Security analyst Bakatsine confirmed the tragic news on Tuesday, April 29, adding that the bandits also killed the Imam’s family members.
