VIDEO: Pastor Iren Claims Majority Of Sexual Assault Allegations In His Ministry Are False
Pastor Emmanuel Iren of Celebration Church International recently addressed the issue of sexual assault allegations within his ministry. He expressed the serious consequences of false accusations and emphasized the importance of understanding consent. In his sermon, Pastor Iren shared how his initial reaction to the allegations was anger, and he had planned legal action. However, after further investigation, he found that many of the claims lacked substantial evidence. The sermon, which started trending on Friday, highlighted the need for a balanced approach to such sensitive matters.
“In this ministry, nine out of 10 cases where the women came and said they were sexually assaulted ended up false. The first few cases, I was angry. I called the guy and swore I would jail him until he sent evidence. The girl who claimed she was assaulted said ‘It was a nice time’ in the chat,” he revealed.
“Ending a relationship should not be a ground for sexual assault allegations,” he said.
Pastor Emmanuel Iren expressed concern over how sexual assault accusations are sometimes manipulated, particularly when relationships end. He warned his congregation about the potential misuse of such serious allegations. Additionally, he took the opportunity to advise the young men in his church, urging them to live with integrity, self-control, and wisdom, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a high standard of behavior in their relationships and interactions.
On the topic of consent, he offered a sobering reminder stating,
“Initial consent isn’t total consent. Run for your life if consent is withdrawn 10 seconds after granting it. I don’t know who raised some men!”
