World’s First Sperm Racing Competitors Talk Trash Ahead of Big Competition
In a unique and controversial event scheduled for today, April 25, at the Hollywood Palladium, two sperm donors—Tristan from the University of Southern California (USC) and Asher from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)—will compete in what is being described as the world’s first live sperm race.
The event, blending science and entertainment, will see the men’s sperm samples race through a simulated female reproductive tract, complete with chemical cues and fluid dynamics designed to mirror the real process.
The spectacle is expected to draw over 1,000 attendees eager to witness the unusual competition.
Ahead of the race, both Tristan and Asher appeared on “TMZ Live” to discuss their preparations and engage in some playful banter.
Tristan, proudly presenting his medical results, boasted of his higher testosterone levels, claiming it would give his sperm the edge in the race.
Asher, however, remained confident and unphased, brushing off the claim and focusing on his own chances.

The sperm race is the latest in a series of promotional stunts by a startup aiming to combine fertility science with public engagement.
While the event is framed as an entertainment spectacle, it is built on solid scientific principles, with rigorous pre-event lab testing ensuring that the competition is based on real biological factors.
Both Tristan and Asher discussed how their training routines mirrored those of professional athletes, with attention to clean diets and periods of temporary abstinence as part of their preparation for the high-stakes competition.
The race itself will kick off with a synchronized start, adding a theatrical element to the contest, which at its core is inspired by the science of reproduction. The event’s blend of entertainment and science is drawing attention to fertility topics in a unique and attention-grabbing way.
