Fallen Trees And Streetlights Disrupt Traffic On Lagos Roads
Traffic disruptions were reported on Wednesday in parts of Ikoyi, Lagos, after fallen trees and streetlights, according to an update by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA). In a statement posted at 7:38 a.m. on X, LASTMA confirmed three streetlights fell along Osborne Road but said the incident had “no effect on traffic presently.”
A more serious case occurred at Bourdillon Road inward Alexandra roundabout, where a fallen tree fully blocked traffic. “Tree fell at Bourdillon inward Alexandra roundabout taking 100% of the road while our officers have diverted motorists to alternate road,” LASTMA stated.
