Oluremi Tinubu: Delta State Government Orders School Of Nursing Agbor To Withdraw Student’s Query Letter
The Delta State government has directed the School of Nursing, Agbor, to withdraw the query letter issued to a student who shared a video of her colleagues singing a controversial welcome song for Oluremi Tinubu.
This morning, a social media campaign emerged demanding the withdrawal of the letter after it surfaced online. The school had initially queried the student for posting the video on social media.
In a video posted online, State Commissioner for Health Joseph Onojaeme announced that he had ordered the school authorities to rescind the query. He also stated that he had spoken with the student, who confirmed that the letter had been withdrawn.
“The letter of query issued to the student of School of Nursing Agbor. I have instructed the provost to withdraw the letter. We do not want to victimize any of the students. I have also reached out to the student in question and she has confirmed to me that the letter was withdrawn late yesterday night” he said.
