Former Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic recently evaluated the personalities of French attackers Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, and Michael Olise. Following France’s 3-0 victory over Sweden in the World Cup Round of 32 on Tuesday, Ibrahimovic shared his observations with Fox Sports.
He characterized Mbappe as a player with an ego driven by a constant hunger to find the back of the net. Conversely, he noted that neither Dembele nor Olise possesses such an ego. Ibrahimovic explained that having players like Olise and Dembele—who lack that specific type of ego—complements a goal-scorer like Mbappe, creating an ideal balance for the team.
At the current tournament, Mbappe has netted six times. Dembele has contributed four goals, while Olise has yet to score despite tallying five assists.
