In separate developments, Russian artillery fire hit the village of Bugaivka in the Kharkiv region, destroying homes and killing five people, according to local prosecutors. Additionally, Russian defense authorities claimed to have intercepted 456 Ukrainian drones, though official reports do not specify how many drones successfully bypassed defenses. Further fatalities were reported in the Russian border region of Belgorod and the frontline Kherson area due to ongoing cross-border strikes.
