Habila, who was employed by the David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences, was temporarily assigned to the office of Works Minister Senator David Umahi at the time of her passing at his residence. National President of the Uburu community, Nicholas Odi, shared sympathies with her family, the university, and the people of Kaduna State.
The community supports a clear and independent autopsy to determine the medical cause of death. They are urging law enforcement to conduct a diligent and neutral investigation based on forensic evidence rather than speculation. Local leaders warned against public commentary that might interfere with these findings, noting that assigning staff to officials is a standard administrative practice. Ultimately, the community trusts that the rule of law will prevail once the official inquiry concludes.
