Content creator Tunmise recently addressed the end of his relationship with Ivana, alleging that she secretly visited her former partner in Calabar. This public statement serves as a rebuttal to claims made by Ivana, who previously accused Tunmise of cheating, verbal mistreatment, and physical violence. Tunmise has firmly rejected these accusations, maintaining that he exerted significant effort to preserve their bond.
Tunmise claims that while they appeared content on social media, their private life was marred by difficulties. He stated that he provided substantial financial assistance to both Ivana and her relatives. During a period of attempted reconciliation, he asserts that he funded a three-week hotel stay at a cost of N150,000 per day to help them reconnect, alongside frequent shopping trips and various other expenses.
The situation allegedly reached a breaking point when Ivana told him she was traveling to Calabar for an event. Tunmise drove her to the airport, only to later discover via evidence provided by the current partner of Ivana’s ex-boyfriend that she had actually gone to meet him. Despite this, Tunmise claimed he chose to forgive her as her birthday was approaching. Regarding his alleged verbal abuse, he admitted to using derogatory language but attributed these outbursts to the strain caused by persistent health issues they were both struggling to resolve.
