Tiamiyu Ibrahim Appointed as New National President of NAUS

Tiamiyu Ibrahim of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology has been declared the national president of the National Association of University Students following a stakeholder consensus.

Tiamiyu Ibrahim, a student at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, has been named the new president of the National Association of University Students (NAUS). This appointment was finalized by national stakeholders during a recent meeting in Abuja.

The association reached this conclusion after noting that the prior national convention failed to reach the required quorum of accredited senators. In accordance with established internal traditions, stakeholders opted to select the leader through affirmation. They specifically recognized Ibrahim for his past dedication to the group and his previous decision to step down from an election to maintain unity.

Kunle Oyediran, the group’s chairman, and Secretary Ashiru Muhammed issued a formal statement calling for widespread support for the new administration. They emphasized that backing Ibrahim is essential for the future stability and progress of the organization.
