Furthermore, he addressed the issue of defense spending, acknowledging the goal of reaching 3% of GDP but stopped short of setting a specific timeline, noting that the government is currently focused on ensuring current investment plans are fully funded.
Finally, the prime minister explicitly dismissed the prospect of an early general election, stating that he intends to serve until at least 2029 to focus on national recovery.
